Genevieve Brown – BMus

Genevieve is a vocalist, musician and educator with more than five years experience working with students of all ages. She holds a Bachelor of Music (Performance) from the Queensland Conservatorium of Music, majoring in Jazz Voice and is currently pursing performance opportunities right around Australia. Additionally she has been working professionally in the field of performance for eight years.
Her aims are to provide personalised voice lessons to accommodate all skill levels and to foster healthy vocal production. During her time in education, Genevieve has also worked with special needs and early childhood students and found ways in which music can help aid in communication and creativity.
During her time as a professional vocalist and performer Genevieve has had the opportunity to receive training from some of Australia’s best but also had the opportunity to perform overseas. In 2012 and 2019 she had the chance to travel to New York City (US) and receive training from educators at The New School in Manhattan and performed at venues such as Smalls Jazz Club. Genevieve has a warm and gentle approach whilst still pushing her students to achieve their best.
