Omid Moheb – BMus

Piano

Omid is a piano teacher, theory tutor, and orchestral conductor. Omid’s curiosity and love for learning and performing is a part of what makes him a great teacher and his students have achieved many successes thanks to his nurturing guidance. Omid uses a flexible teaching style including techniques such as Suzuki, Orff, and AMEB methods.
He has received a BMus in classical piano performance from the Australian Institute of Music, under the supervision of Dr Wojciech Wisniewski, Dr Suzanna Hlinka and Dr Alistair Noble. He has performed piano at The Australian Hall, Sydney TAFE Gallery, and Sydney Town Hall and is multilingual in English, French, Farsi and basic Arabic.
He is also the Music Director of Mans Shed Chorale, assistant conductor of Fisher Ghost Youth Orchestra, guest conductor with the Sydney Male Voice Choir, and on a scholarship to study under Sarah-Grace William’s supervision with The Metropolitan Orchestra. Omid hopes to continue further studying in piano performance and conduct internationally. Omid has several years of teaching experience and conducting and is able to bring the soul and meaning of each piece to life.
